About Union Visual

Union Visuals comprises of photographers, Erik Haslett and Rafael Jimenez. We both come from a background of shooting portraits of musicians and artists, and that creative energy still fuels everything we do today. We are non-traditional in the sense that, yes, as experienced photographers we know exactly how to make a pretty picture in any environment. But, knowing these rules only enables us to break them in new and creative ways. And, it is in that pocket of creativity where our photography is focused.

  1. Father of twin boys, many feel they look like triplets.

  2. Went on 7 week around-the-world trip with just his camera (and some clothing).

  3. Plays bass+ drums + learning guitar.

  4. Home is Brooklyn NY, born + raised in Delaware.

  5. Graduated from Syracuse University.

  7. Also directs + edits professionally, mostly television + music video.

  8. Ran + completed the Philadelphia marathon.

  9. Strives to be a connoisseur of hot sauces + coffee.

  10. Favorite animal is an elephant. Has a dog + cat (can’t have an elephant in NYC).
